In 2014, Basalt to Bay undertook a landmark research project to investigate and quantify the economic benefits of native shelterbelts in agriculture. The study reviewed over 100 research findings, focusing especially on productivity impacts. The findings were compiled into the document called The Economic Benefits of Native Shelterbelts Report.
